Black, White, Or Other?!? - A Poorly Planned Getaway.

Stereotypes are a way of life in America. We feed into them so readily that they take on a life of their own. But just how well do you really know your racial stereotypes?

Black, White, Or Other? lists a particularly heinous crime/news story, with incriminating bits of info omitted for the sake of confidentiality. Your job is to guess whether the protagonist is black, white, or the omnipresent "other", and to tell why you guessed how you did. The best guessplanation wins a week's supply of Cyber CapriSuns. And yeah, you could prolly Google the news story to find out the race of the person, but what sorta loser does that? Seriously. And if you already know about the story, and thus the answer, sit this one out. Be a good sport. Don't cheat.

Anyways, here's today's entry.
A blockwatch member took this photo of [redacted] with an alleged stolen TV from a home in [redacted]. Police booked a [redacted] man into jail after a woman takes the term "block watch" to a new level. The woman snapped the man's photo as he was making his getaway following a break-in.

The photo shows a bike riding burglar in broad daylight- with one hand on the handlebars, the other balancing a 42 inch flat screen TV stolen from a home in [redacted]. It taken by an alert block watch member who saw the man snooping behind homes. She walked out with her camera, and he came riding right by her. He was able to peddle away, but not for long.

Using the photos that clearly show his face, even those velcro shoes he has on ... police identified him as 23 year old [redacted]. He was arrested Thursday night.

[redacted]: "I thought he was bold. I think it's ridiculous somebody would steal... and in broad daylight."

The break in happening on [redacted]'s street. She's with the block watch, where they want criminals to know people aren't just watching ... they're snapping a different kind of mug shot. "Don't try to steal from us."

Investigators suspect [redacted] in other crimes ... including other unsolved break-ins. And that bike he was on may have also been stolen.

Right now, [redacted] is charged with burglary.
Question: Is the guy who stole the 42 inch TV and rode away on a bike Black, White, or Other? Why?
