Rachel Maddow Blasts Pat Buchanan. A Week Later.

Props to MSNBC's Rachel Maddow for backtracking and clearing up some of her colleague's Caucasian Craziness from last week. Of course, I'd have preferred she'd done this when Buchanan made his initial statements, but reality is, most of us would have been equally dumbfounded when faced with such idiocy. She almost sounds on the verge of tears as she essentially issues a quasi-apology for something she didn't even personally do.

I criticized Maddow as being to lenient, but upon further thought, I was wrong. I haven't seen a display of professionalism and classiness like this from a journalist in some time. Kudos for Rachel, booo to Pat Buchanan. Your room at Shady Acres is waiting, buddy.
