Ashy Or Classy?!? - Stringer Bell's cRap/R&B Album.

I'm the last person to hate on a man's side-hustle, given the fact that I am trying to turn this blog thing into an additional income stream. But there is a reason why KFC sells chicken, and not fried turkey. Sometimes you gotta find one thing and stick to it. That's sorta what I felt when I first heard Idris Elba, the actor who played the infamous Stringer Bell on HBO's epic series, The Wire, was trying his hand at music.

The results are, as they say, decidedly mixed.



The guy's a supposedly well-known and well-regarded club DJ in NYC and LA, so he knows his music. He's got talented producers like 9th Wonder and Pete Rock behind him, so the tracks will be tight at least. But c'mon bruh, what the *!&# was that BS?

Final Verdict: I respect trying to do something outside the box, but this one's definitely ASHY!

Question: Ashy Or Classy?!? Should "Big Driis" stick to acting, or will his dimestore Mos Def imitation actually pan out?!?
