The SuperBowl Is This Sunday! Who Ya'll Got?!?

So, Sunday is the big game. Plasma TV sets worldwide will be crankin'. Lots of Corona and Blue Moons (my new favorite, thanks Officer Crowley!) will be imbibed. Hot waing sauce will ruin millions of white couches for eternity. We'll all be bored to death by the awful halftime show by The Who (who?), which just proves that Janet Jackson's Boob is the gift that keeps on takin'. And someone will end up winning, what promises to be a shootout. AverageNation™ seems to give the Saints the nod, albeit by the slimmest of margins.

No need to lie, I don't really give to sh*t about either of these teams. This is little more than an excuse to have friends and fam over the crib, and break out the grill in the Winter. That's it, and that's all. I'm not even really a football fan, let alone an NFL fan. I'm just glad this signals the beginning of the NBA season that people actually care about.

Since I'm required by law to have an opinion, I'm going with the Colts. The reason is simple: They got a black coach. I remember Jim Caldwell from his pitiful days coaching Wake Forest back in the early 90's, when many mused that they were so awful my HBCU could prolly have beaten them. It didn't occur to me that this was the very same Jim Caldwell until I saw his picture last week. So yeah, just like last year when I was down with Omar Epps Mike Tomlin and the Steelers, I'm rolling' with the brother.

This, of course, doesn't mean I think they'll actually win. The Saints offense is just too darn stacked with the heavenly butt-pads of Kim Kardashian their 3-pronged running attack, playmaking receivers like Robert Meachem, and of course, Drew Brees, the only white guy in the world capable of doing this...



Eff' a Brett Farve and his ultra-lame "Pants On The Ground" remix, Drew Brees could prolly motivate these brothers to quit dodging their baby moms, and pay off all that back child support run through a brick wall. A wall of Colts won't be nearly as imposing.
