It's 3 Play Thursday. Today: 80's House and R&B Legend Colonel Abrams.
Depending on your point of reference, 80's singer Colonel Abrams is either a creator of some great house/R&B hybrid music, or one of the biggest swagger jackers in the history of Negro-dom. Nearly impossible to distinguish from his contemporaries Luther Vandross and/or Teddy Pendergrass, The Colonel managed to carve a decent career for himself, and created some decent music in the process. Here's a trio of my favorites.
"Trapped"
"How Soon We Forget"
"Music Is The Answer"
"The Truth"
Question: Do you even remember Colonel Abrams, and if so, for what?
