The fine folks at ICE Promotions, who had me and my AverageBros as a guests during last July's exciting card, are bringing boxing back to the DMV with a huge card Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA. Popular junior middleweight contender Jimmy Lange (33-4-2, 22 KOs) looks to continue his winning streak as he goes head-to-head against ring veteran Joe Wyatt (23-1, 15 KOs) of Richmond, VA in the Main Event. Lange/Wyatt headlines what is certain to a yet another full and exciting night of fights. After seeing Lange a few times now, I think Wyatt's chances of winning are better at fry cooking than in the ring, but that's just me. The 10-round headliner is part of an Ice Promotions event presented by Valcourt Building Services featuring top professional boxing. Tickets start at only $35 and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Patriot Center box office. I'll be at the Wizards/Cavs game so I won't make it this time.
