AB.com and AverageNation™ are a flame-free zone. I pride myself and this blog on being a place for reasonable, nuanced debate on a variety of social, political, and completely freakin' random topics. We've had times in the past when things got overly contentious and threatened to take some of the fun out of this blog, but those times generally come and go. We're in the midst of one of those times right now.
I see some old threads got revisited by a lurker, and some of ya'll who subscribe via email got reeled in. Likewise, I see a lot of partisan bickering on the boards here lately, and I do not like it one bit, and I'd like to ask everyone participating to be a bit more civil and reel it in a bit. You know who you are.
There's only one person on this blog that gets to talk snarky and toss subliminal grenades. I'll give you one guess who that is.
